Choosing an Electrologist

Electrolysis is an intricate procedure that should be performed only by a licensed professional in order to achieve the best results. Not all electrologist are the same, therefore choosing a licensed electrologist signifies that the professional has obtained national board certification and is committed to continually enhancing his or her knowledge and skills in the field. Look for a professional who is licensed and a member of the American Electrology Association. Please note that all electrologists in New Jersey must be licensed and you should ask to see their license.

Another important aspect when choosing your electrologist is to know their sterilization method and that they follow universal precaution. The use of pre-sterilized disposable electrolysis needles remain the ONLY foolproof way to deliver safe, sterile treatment.  Autoclaves and dry heat sterilizers remain the ONLY sterilization devices safe enough to be recommended for use by all health care professionals, including electrologists.

Why not let electrolysis work its wonders for you. You’ll love your new look and your beautiful new self-image. Call today to schedule a free electrolysis consultation. Special rates available to those booking a block of time.
